- Ensure the timely and sufficient availability of raw materials and other materials required for production.
- Plan and monitor material requirements, purchase orders, inventory levels, delivery dates and lead times based on current production and shipment targets.
- Serve as the main operational contact for suppliers regarding order confirmations, required quantities and agreed delivery schedules.
- Identify potential supply risks, delays and material shortages at an early stage and initiate or escalate appropriate countermeasures.
- Adjust material plans and delivery schedules in response to changes in production requirements.
- Track incoming material deliveries and coordinate corrective actions in the event of quantity or quality discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate material master data, delivery schedules and planning parameters in SAP.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance and prepare relevant statistics, evaluations, administrative reports and supply chain KPIs.
- Support inventory optimization and contribute to reducing excess and obsolete stock.
- Work closely with customs, finance, production, R&D and other internal departments to ensure smooth material flows.
- Contribute to the achievement of production volumes, quality requirements and predefined cost targets.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of relevant management systems and comply with applicable environmental, occupational health and safety, quality and information security standards.

- Completed vocational training or a university degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain management or a comparable field.
- Professional experience in material planning, production control, purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of material planning, supplier coordination and production-related processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as experience working with SAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify supply risks and take appropriate action.
- Strong communication and coordination skills when working with suppliers and internal departments.
- Structured, reliable and solution-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Advanced English or Chinese skills, both spoken and written. Knowledge of both languages is considered a strong advantage.
- German language skills are considered an advantage.
