Permanent employee
45,000 - 60,000 € per year

Your mission

  • Conduct mechanical structure design, 3D modeling, structural partitioning and tolerance matching and prepare 2D engineering drawings.
  • Complete PFMEAs, structural risk assessments, DFM optimization and assembly structure design and ensure product assembly efficiency, structural stability and manufacturability.
  • Cooperate with electronic engineers to complete mechanical and electrical structural matching, component layout and heat dissipation evaluation.
  • Follow up on prototype production and sample assembly, perform structural fitting verification and tolerance evaluation and resolve assembly interference, gap and flush and structural matching issues.
  • Support DV/PV mechanical reliability verification, including vibration tests, shock tests, high- and low-temperature cycling and waterproof and dustproof tests. Analyze the causes of structural failures and provide improvement solutions.
  • Cooperate with mold suppliers and follow up on mold development, trial molding, structural modifications and mold optimization. Control mold quality and the dimensional stability of mass-produced parts.
  • Provide technical support for trial production and mass production, resolve structural abnormalities on site, improve assembly yield and optimize production processes.
  • Analyze mechanical failures in products returned through after-sales service, including deformation, cracking, loose assembly, water leakage and abnormal noise. Summarize failure patterns and promote structural design iterations and quality improvements.
  • Compile complete mechanical technical documentation, including structural design specifications, drawing files, tolerance reports, test verification reports and engineering change records.
  • Communicate and coordinate with overseas clients, suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure that project milestones, quality standards and requirements are achieved in accordance with automotive industry regulations.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, mechanical design or a related field.
  • Professional experience in the mechanical design of automotive products or vehicle components.
  • Experience in the complete development and mass-production process of a product is considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in 3D structural design software such as SolidWorks, Creo or Siemens NX (UG) and in applying 2D engineering drawing standards.
  • Familiarity with automotive plastics and metals, injection molding processes, surface treatments, structural tolerance analysis and assembly mechanism analysis.
  • Familiarity with automotive mechanical reliability testing standards, DV/PV verification items and vibration and environmental testing requirements.
  • Understanding of automotive product development processes, quality systems and engineering change management.
  • Good English skills for technical communication with international stakeholders.
  • German language skills are considered an advantage.
  • Strong root-cause analysis, problem-solving, logical thinking and technical documentation skills.
  • Good teamwork and cross-departmental coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle urgent technical problems and undertake occasional business trips.
  • Rigorous working style, strong quality awareness and ability to adhere strictly to project schedules.
