- Coordinate day-to-day on-site operations relating to automotive production materials and supervise the front-line material-handling team.
- Assign shift-based tasks, monitor their execution and provide team members with practical guidance during daily operations.
- Manage material requisition, issuing and line-side delivery to ensure a continuous and reliable supply of materials to production.
- Monitor material availability and respond quickly to shortages, urgent material requests and other operational issues that could affect production.
- Ensure the consistent application of the first-in, first-out (FIFO) principle, batch management and material traceability requirements.
- Control line-side warehouse inventory and prevent wrong-part, mixed-part and missing-part incidents.
- Standardize procedures for production-line material returns, material exchanges and material replenishment.
- Maintain high 5S standards through clear storage structures, accurate material labelling and appropriate zone-based storage.
- Monitor material movements and ensure that physical inventory corresponds with delivery documentation and SAP system data.
- Support regular stocktaking activities and contribute to the investigation and root-cause analysis of inventory discrepancies.
- Identify and report slow-moving, excess or abnormal materials through the appropriate internal channels.
- Identify operational issues, coordinate corrective actions and report on the progress of improvement measures.
- Ensure that all on-site activities comply with German occupational safety regulations, internal procedures and workshop requirements.

Your profile
- Completed vocational training or a college degree in manufacturing, automotive materials, warehousing, logistics or a comparable field.
- At least one to three years of professional experience in material handling, production logistics or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
- At least one year of experience leading or supervising a team.
- Good understanding of factory material flows, line-side supply processes, inventory control and material traceability.
- Practical knowledge of 5S principles and on-site safety requirements.
- Good computer skills and confidence preparing operational reports in Excel.
- Practical experience with SAP or another warehouse or ERP system is considered an advantage.
- Ability to assign tasks, coordinate daily operations and support team members in a hands-on working environment.
- Structured, reliable and solution-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with team members and other departments.
- English skills sufficient for communication in an international manufacturing environment.
- German language skills are considered a strong advantage.
